The end of a zero is a performance that will take the form of a jazz funeral as found in the traditions of New Orleans and parts of the American south. Based on both a found photograph of a downed WWII fighter plane and a randomly intercepted radio transmission from Quito, Ecuador, The end of a zero will meditate on cinema and silence, death and duration, photography and muteness as well as music and emotional state.

FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY we call on interested parties to congregate on the above date to witness a diverse series of demonstrations – our stated intent being to capture messages from the ETHER, to channel the intangible, the inexplicable and the other-worldly and give form to their signals, always conscious that we are looked to for a due performance of our task. ––Thus, a diverse assembly of practitioners – artists, scientists, musicians, writers, performers and other investigators - will assemble to bring together the aural, visual and experiential, the factual and the mystical as they explore the secrets of the VOID ––
